I kept seeing the same problems
Businesses were either ignoring AI tools because they didn't know where to start, or getting ripped off by courses and consultants who charged a lot and delivered very little. The same was true for websites. Agencies building things with unnecessary complexity and ongoing costs. And for hardware, suppliers recommending kit based on commission, not what the business actually needed.
I started JarrettPlatforms in 2026 to do something about that. I've worked in and around technology long enough to know what's genuinely useful and what's noise. My goal is to share that in a way that's accessible to people who don't have a technical background.
This isn't a big company. It's just me. Which means when you work with me, you get my full attention, honest advice, and no passing you off to someone junior.
They're all solving the same problem
AI training, websites, and tech advice don't have an obvious connection. But they're all about the same thing: businesses getting taken advantage of because they don't have the technical knowledge to push back.
I started with websites because they're concrete and deliverable. AI training came from clients who were curious but didn't know where to begin. Tech consulting came from watching those same clients buy the wrong equipment on bad advice.
All three exist because there's a gap between what's out there and what businesses actually need. I'm trying to close that gap.
