Terms

Last updated: May 2026

These terms apply to all services provided by JarrettPlatforms Ltd (Company No. 17150553). By asking us to carry out work, you're agreeing to them.

The services

We offer AI training, website development, and tech consulting. The scope of each project is agreed in writing before work starts. If you want something not covered in what we agreed, we'll discuss it and quote separately.

Quotes

Written quotes are valid for 30 days. A quote is not a commitment until both parties have confirmed in writing that work should go ahead.

Payment

Payment terms are agreed before work starts. For website builds, we typically ask for a deposit upfront, with the balance due on completion. For training and consulting, we invoice after the work is done.

Payment is due within 14 days of invoice. If payment isn't received, we reserve the right to pause or stop work until it is.

What you're responsible for

To do our job, we need things from you: accurate information, timely decisions, and access to anything relevant (accounts, content, approvals). Delays caused by late or missing input from your side aren't our responsibility, and may affect timelines or incur additional costs.

Intellectual property

Once you've paid in full, you own the deliverables. Until then, all work remains our property.

We may reference that we built your website or worked with your business in our own marketing, unless you ask us not to in writing before work begins.

Third-party tools, platforms, or software used in a project are subject to their own terms and licences. We're not responsible for changes to those services.

Cancellations

Either party can end a project by giving written notice. If you cancel partway through, you'll owe payment for the work completed to that point, calculated at a fair rate against the agreed total.

Liability

We'll do good work, but we can't guarantee specific outcomes (search rankings, sales conversions, business results). We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any project won't exceed the fees you've paid us for that project.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your project is the one in place when work was agreed.
