Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026
This policy explains what data JarrettPlatforms Ltd collects, why, and what we do with it. We've tried to write it in plain English.
Who we are
JarrettPlatforms Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17150553). We're operated by William Jarrett. For anything related to your data, contact us at wjarrett@jarrettplatforms.com.
What data we collect
When you use the contact form on this website, we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- The topic you selected
- The message you wrote
That's it. We don't use analytics, advertising trackers, or any cookies.
We do save your dark mode preference using your browser's local storage. This is stored on your device only and never sent anywhere.
Why we collect it
We collect contact form submissions so we can respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is legitimate interests — our interest in communicating with people who want to work with us.
Who else sees your data
Contact form submissions are processed by Formspree, a third-party service that forwards your message to us by email. You can read Formspree's privacy policy at formspree.io.
This site loads fonts from Google's servers. Google logs the IP address of visitors as part of that request. We don't control this. You can read Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
We don't sell, share, or rent your data to anyone else.
How long we keep it
We keep contact enquiries for as long as they're relevant — typically for the duration of any working relationship, and a reasonable period after. If you'd like us to delete your data, just ask.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct it if it's wrong
- Ask us to delete it
- Object to how we're using it
- Complain to the ICO (the UK's data regulator) at ico.org.uk
To exercise any of these rights, email wjarrett@jarrettplatforms.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top will change when we do. Significant changes will be noted here.
